Sponsoring A Course In Your Area

The requests are pouring in to have me come give seminars, so I’ve prepared these guidelines:
We love getting live Divine Openings to people everywhere.... so thanks for your inspiration to help! It will be rewarding to you in ways you cannot now imagine. We accomplish miracles all the time, AND we are also very grounded and successful in the practical everyday aspects of having things work: things like promotion, marketing, and logistics. It does take a mix of energy alignment, magic, contacts, marketing savvy, a strong abundance consciousness (we have it and would love to help you have it too), and enthusiastic effort from you.
Up until summer ‘08, we stayed home, and people flew in from all over the world to our ranch in Austin..... and THAT was easy. We like that.
I’ve begun to do more traveling to teach when someone puts a group together for me, and handles the promotion and logistics completely.
The 3 courses in Toronto were wildly successful because Jo-Anne, who went through the 5 Day Silent Intensive 2 months ago, filled them singlehandedly. The first thing she did was get about 40 books in people's hands. Once people read the book, they want a live course. Because of Jo-Anne, 30 people registered several months in advance. So getting books in hands is the biggest key. Another is having big lists to email to, and having the kind of reputation that people really listen to what you say.
Supporters in Bozeman, Montana also started out by getting 40 or 50 books out to people, and putting them in a bookstore there. The bookstore owner read the book and started telling people about it. Even in that area where my mailing list is very thin, the course easily made by the 3 week deadline.
Here are some success guidelines for hosting a course for us in your town AND HAVING IT MAKE!:
The local hosts handle everything else about the local logistics.
- This is in order of priority:
- Get books out there in people's hands. You get to buy the books wholesale and make 50% on the sales. (You buy for $13 each plus shipping, and sell for $26 each.)
- Find people with big email lists to mail to, or you will need a large email list of interested people.
- Get everyone you know to email out.
- You send people to the website, which sells the course and registers them. It's automated!
- Your recommendation + our site + success.
- Reserve a facility and get our approval of it (this is the easiest part).
- Line up radio interviews three months in advance of when you want the course to happen
- Get a metaphysical bookstore sponsor to promote it and send to their list. This is very effective if they have an email list. If they sell 40 books and follow up, you will have a course.
- Press releases to local publications. Have them interview me and publish it three months before the event.
- Get the word and posters/fliers out to local bookstores. Posters and fliers alone do NOT work alone. You would want to put some posters up though, in VERY targeted locations.
*** BEST: Get a bookstore to sponsor it and email to their list.
Your best avenue is people with big lists: stores, centers, clinics, local churches, spiritual leaders, and practitioners.
The courses must have the minimum number of people pre-registered a month in advance, or it is cancelled. ( I have to get airfare.)
We post the courses on our website, but you can’t rely on that to fill the course.
The website sells Divine Openings very well, but it’s personal recommendations that make the difference.
Just get people to the site and reading the book, starting NOW!
If they read the book, they are very likely to come to a live course. About 30-80% of people you get the book to will want a live course.
We provide you a high quality color flier/poster/press release master.
The distribution cost and effort is up to you. Don't spend much. Posters and fliers don't do much without them knowing who I am. Word of mouth is key.
The registration is all automated through our website, as is the affiliate tracking, so that's easy for you. You don't have to take registrations, give directions or info.... just get the word out!
We don’t repay you for anything if your seminar does not make, or if the affiliate commission does not happen to cover your work and expense. Getting the book out costs you nothing, so just do that and send out to good lists to get people reading the book, and it will work!
A minimum of 15 people must already be pre-registered by 3 weeks before the event. (I must get airfare 3 weeks in advance, so must cancel if minimum is not met.) Now, if it’s Hawaii or Tahiti, and I want to come, and the minimum is almost met, I’ll come anyway!
I approve the seminar room and cost, from photos and talking with you.
- For a 5-Day Intensive, we need a secluded, resort-like atmosphere with swimming or ocean, hiking, nature, beauty, food facilities, and lodging. Not a hotel. That's too busy for people trying to be in silence.
- For a 1 or 2 day event, all it takes is chairs and a nice, spacious atmosphere. We want an open area for every one to lie down on the floor. We like nature all around for walks and movement outdoors. We could use a hotel for this.
We pay any seminar room fees after the course has made. Not before! We don’t pay a room deposit until the course is made, as we have no idea whether you will fill the course by the deadline. So you will want a facility reserved way in advance and fill the course way in advance.
Centers often make their profit from people staying in their rooms overnight (if applicable), and will give free meeting space to us.
Bookstores get to sell my books before, during, and after the live event!
Getting my books to metaphysical or progressive bookstores in your area who will actively feature and promote them is key.
They can't just sit there in the store.
Send the bookstore or individual buyers to the website, they click Books, then bookstores click Wholesale Orders.
Easy!
Have them put up a poster with the book. I provide them with a master, not the printing or mounting of it.
They must talk about it and promote it actively through emails or mailings for it to fly.
Right now, if you are serious, order 30 copies of the book wholesale, and begin selling them yourself and taking them to bookstores.
That's exactly what the Canada and Montana people did to make those courses successful. We find that when the books are not actively sold, no courses happen.
I'd recommend offering a $25 Friday night intro, and a Saturday 1-Day Intensive -- tuition $350, or a 1 1/2 day intensive $400.
A 5 Day Silent Intensive can be scheduled for the same trip if you get enough interest. People will take it after just reading the book! It is $1850 outside Austin. Minimum 8 people.
First, you start getting the word out and getting books out.
When I see that you are actively and successfully doing that, only then will I schedule a date with you 3 to 4 months in advance.
We’re getting Divine Openings to the world without going anywhere! People can always come to Austin if they really want Divine Openings, so we feel no need to push any rivers. Out of town courses are fun if it flows easily.
If you can do it, then do it!
If not, just recommend the book and online course, earn affiliate commissions, and let it build.
It's all we can do to keep up with the pace it's growing now!
Translations of the book are happening in Chinese and German.... you wouldn’t believe what we have going on. I am amazed at how much we get done.

Can you drop the price?
No, never. It's worth a hundred times our tuition. It cost $5500 in tuition and $3000 in travel costs for me to go to India for the 21 days of silence. You must be in an abundance consciousness to promote an event for us. We definitely do not drop prices or do anything to encourage lack consciousness. We help people get prosperous. The tuition keeps going up, not down, as word of its value spreads and people understand more of what they’re getting. Or if you want to help disadvantaged people, get a sponsor to pay for Lola's work.
How do I explain it to people?
Share your personal experience, and send them to the website through your affiliate link. The site does an amazing job of explaining the unexplainable. You can also ask them what they want in their life, and tell them Divine Openings will help that. It helps everything.
How do I become an affiliate to earn commissions when I refer people?
Go to www.LolaJones.com/affiliate-program and it takes 3 minutes to become an affiliate.
How do the commissions work on a sponsored course?
15% commission is paid to you to cover your work and expense.
If you register at least 10 people, you get the course free too. If you register fewer than 10, you can apply your commissions to pay for your course.
You could team up and have each of you register 10 for example.
We give you a 15% affiliate commission for registering people when they come in THROUGH YOUR AFFILIATE LINK.
WE CANNOT TRACK IT MANUALLY if you don’t send them through your link to register. Please don’t even ask us to, as we have our hands full, and have created a system that works beautifully without doing things manually. You must use the system.
You can also sign people up under you as affiliates, THROUGH YOUR LINK.
Send them your affiliate link, they sign up as affiliates, and then you make 5% on their registrations, while they make 15%. If you personally register 10 people through your link you get the course free, in addition to the 15% commission. If you don’t make your 10 quota, you can trade in your commissions up to the value of a course, and so get it free.
